Why I Wrote This Book

In the course of a  long career in advertising and promotional writing, I hid my irreligious convictions at the office but shared my views with like-minded friends.  Even as a child, I could see no good coming from adhering to any faith, and now, more and more, I see the havoc caused by religious wars—one belief against another.

So I guess the topic for this book has been in the back of my mind for quite a while, approached as you’ll see with an attention-getting touch of levity.
